About Us
Experience the thrill of the Candy Vault, an old-fashioned sweet shop set inside the historic Bank of Nova Scotia building in Downtown Salmon Arm. Since its opening in 1950, the branch saw many transactions take place behind its 3,600 pound vault door. Today, the same vault door leads to a treasure trove of candies, offering a delightful experience for visitors of all ages. Stepping into the Candy Vault is like entering a time portal to childhood bliss. In the air you can smell the sweet scent of confections long forgotten, involving memories of carefree days and innocent delights.
Rows upon rows of brightly colored packages line the shelves, each holding the promise of a sugary escape. From jars brimming with candies to shelves stacked with retro treats, every corner holds an abundance of nostalgia. With each purchase, it’s not just candy being bought, but a ticket to a simpler time, when the only worry was which treat to try next.
